Jake von Johannesburg is a charming 18 month old bi-colored German Shepherd. It didn’t matter that Jake was in a high kill, very crowed shelter, he never was in danger. They offered to hold Jake as long as they needed to, the rescue adoption coordinator would just sigh and say how much she “loved that dog!” He is calm and well behaved. Back in the kennel so many dogs are barking, Jake is just sitting there looking so precious and gives a little wag in recognition when he sees a familiar face. He is great with other dogs, nothing seems to upset him. His first introduction to cats went well. Jake is one of those dogs even a novice can read, it is all there for everyone to see, his sweetness is just so visible. We love Jake too!
